From campaign stumping by local, regional and state candidates to intimate concerts with world-famous jazz guitarists, Grounds For Thought offers an eclectic mix of regular music and community events including concerts, lectures, seminars and our annual “Incredible GFT Used Book Sale” and BG Flea Market.

Grounds For Thought is quickly gaining a reputation as premier music venue in the Northwest Ohio area and beyond. We present a series of FREE concerts featuring the finest blues, jazz, bluegrass, rock and roll and Americana bands and musicians in the country and world.

With a ground-level stage, resonant acoustics and warm setting, music lovers of all genres will enjoy an up-close experience that can only be found in such an intimate space. Many bands are also featured Main Stage performers at the annual Black Swamp Arts Festival in Downtown Bowling Green each September.
